How a Tour Guide creates a journey

Once you’re an approved Tour Guide, you publish journeys directly from your dashboard.

1. Add a new journey

From the admin, open Travira Journeys → All Journeys → Add New. Fill in title, description, location, dates, group size, and price.

2. Add the visuals

One strong featured image. A few honest photos in the body. No stock travel-magazine clichés — we want the place as it is.

3. Submit for review

When you save, your journey goes to Pending. A Travira editor reviews it: copy, pricing, photos, completeness. We may write back with small notes.

4. Publish

Once approved, your journey appears on /journeys/ and is bookable. You’ll see incoming reservations under Travira Reservations.

5. Run the trip, then settle

Lead the trip as planned. After it ends, the system holds settlement for a short window for any guest reflections, then pays you out.

Limits & care

  • You can have a few active journeys at once — see your settings for the current cap.
  • If you need to cancel a trip you’ve already taken bookings on, contact us first. Provider-side cancellations have heavier consequences for guests.
