Terms of Service

Last updated: May 14, 2026

Welcome to Travira. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of travira.com and all related services. By using Travira you agree to these Terms.

1. About Travira

Travira is a curated platform that connects travelers with hosts offering mindful retreats, contemplative journeys, boutique stays, and digital products. Travira acts as an intermediary between hosts (providers) and travelers (buyers). The actual service — a retreat, stay, or digital product — is delivered by the host. Travira facilitates discovery, communication, and payment.

Travira is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in California, United States.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality and safety of the services they provide, all necessary permits and licenses, applicable taxes, and compliance with local laws.
  • Travelers are responsible for booking decisions, travel insurance, visas, medical fitness, and conduct during the experience.
  • Travira is responsible for maintaining the platform, facilitating discovery and payment, and providing reasonable support. Travira does not own, operate, control, or guarantee any retreat, stay, or product listed.

3. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. Account information must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Travira may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bookings and Payments

Travira uses Stripe as its payment processor. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Travira does not store full credit card numbers. By making a payment you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.

For journeys and venues: Travira collects a platform fee (commission) at the time of booking. The balance is settled directly between the traveler and the host on-site.

For digital products: The full purchase amount is processed by Travira and the net amount (after platform fee and payment processing) is transferred to the host on a bi-weekly schedule.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and cancellation policies are detailed in our Refund Policy. In summary:

  • Digital products are non-refundable (final sale on access).
  • Journeys and venues follow a tiered cancellation schedule based on time before start date.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travira is not liable for: injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or any other harm arising from your participation in a retreat, stay at a venue, or use of a digital product. The host is the sole provider of those services and bears full responsibility for their delivery.

Travira makes no warranty regarding the accuracy of listings beyond reasonable efforts to verify host claims. Travira is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Travira — design, code, written content, photography unless otherwise credited — is owned by Travira or its licensors. Hosts retain ownership of their own listing content and grant Travira a license to display it on the platform. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or scrape Travira content without permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misrepresent identity, use the platform for illegal purposes, attempt to circumvent the booking system to avoid platform fees, scrape or automate access without permission, or harass other users.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Joaquin County, California, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
